Rene and I heartily recommend the bed and breakfast of  Lt. Col  Michael and Mrs.Rosemary Chilcott. Michael is a retired British Army Officer.  In addition to several rooms in their delightful Normandy manor, they also have an attached  cottage for rent. 

The Colonel conducts tours of the Normandy battlefield and is a great conversationalist and all around good fellow.  Rosemary is a superb hostess whose home made fruit preserves highlight breakfast.
